I’m biased towards Shopify. Regarding Shopify, there are still plenty of friction points to solve between "Add to Cart", "Order Confirmed", “Order Delivered” and “Order Again”. There is market opportunity for new and alternative cart tools, sophisticated subscription/retention tools and shipping/fulfilment solutions, and the opportunity is growing rapidly.
Retention Marketing SaaS
Smart marketing automation and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) that allow brands to use the data they collect, and move closer to hyper-personalised and automated communication and website personalisation. The companies winning here are making complex data sets accessible and actionable for non-technical marketing teams.
LLM Agents & Data
New frontier models are certainly of interest, but I’m mostly looking for the next wave of knowledge bases and agents building on the shoulders of giants. I'm biased towards Google and I’m looking for Gemini-integrated apps and specialised data sources that bring legacy information and know-how into Google Cloud data stores. This is mostly about taking the horsepower of a model like Gemini and turning it into a bespoke solution for a specific role or industry.
WordPress Tooling
WordPress still powers over 40% of the web, but the modern WordPress stack is looking different in 2026. I’m focused on WordPress tooling that makes SMB to enterprise-level performance and security simpler. As the web becomes more fragmented, the tools that help developers maintain speed, security, and portability on an open-source foundation remain a high-conviction play for me.
Health and Wellness
I’m increasingly interested in combinations of SaaS, IoT/hardware and community designed to improve quality of life. I’m looking for enablers of proactive health, such as communities built around wellness, hardware that provides real-time health insights, and software that helps combat chronic disease through lifestyle intervention. Better health is the ultimate ROI.
Whether it’s a Shopify app that bumps AOV or an AI agent that automates a back-office nightmare, these are the themes on my radar for investment.
